1960's Photographic Journalism by Alysha Hahn

The struggles for civil rights defined the 60's ever since four black students sat down at a whites- only lunch counter. Thier movement spread, other African Amerficans clogged segergated resturants and shops acrossed the south. The protesters drew the nations attention to the injustice and brutality. The protested would get sprayed by firemen with high pressure water hoses and get attracted by the officers dog for protesting anti-segregation . Photographers work helped enlighten the nation to the civil rights struggles of the 60's and to capture the inequality of the people.
